^^

I have been told by my chem faculty that the new textbook is a mistake by heinemann and not buy it. They thought there was a new study design or something so decided to release a new textbook etc...

Basically, I wouldn't buy the new textbook just yet, in my teacher's words, "If you have purchased the new textbook, return it, it's a complete waste of money, get the old one off one of the year 12's."

A mistake, lol!

I'm not buying it... Especially after that news.

A mistake because they thought there was a new study design coming out...

Just to let you know guys, examiners do not flick through the Heinemann book to design questions. Don't take your textbook so seriously.

If you check the Macrob booklist, under, 'Items cancelled' you can see the new edition of the Heinemann Chem textbook-enhanced etc etc.

haha also from MHS.

Goodey said the enhanced version was virtually the same, with the addition of harder questions, slightly different themes, more pictures.. and if you may, 'Chem Cafe'
LOL.
and im pretty sure bio is still NOB next year? Well, for 3/4 anyway.
Stiglecs recommends we get "Biology" by Campbell and Reece (Uni book.. ?) anyway, which is an easy find via google!
2010 - Chinese
2011 - English Biology Chemistry Further Methods
2012 - UQ Bachelor of Dental Science I

Definitely get Nature of Biology (Jacaranda I think...) fro Bio, it is the best by a long, long way! But you should be fine with the other two.

I have the enhanced book, and it is pretty much the same... Although, the disc comes with worked solutions but that's not really needed since they're all available on VN already. :/
