Accounting Cadetships

Just got back from the CA Cadetship info night.
I looked online on sites like PricewatherhouseCoopers and i couldn't find any info on applying for the cadetships.

Does anyone know the links (or links to the other Big 4 Accounting Cadetship programs)?
When I went to the stand, they didn't even have pamplets, just a simple square of info lol. lame.
but they did have pricewaterhousecooper branded lip balm.

So did anyone here actually apply for a cadetship?
I wasn't sure if i really wanted to do it...
Getting a head start  and getting $$ while gaining experience sounded good...
But i decided that i would rather enjoy a normal uni life =D LoLs

I didn't really take it too seriously, So I won't be disappointed if I get rejected, I only spent like <30 mins on the whole application.

lol yeah it's not all about academics, but i'm also involved in the community, did volunteer stuff etc etc. but i guess i'm not hugely passionate about accounting or anything and i that might have shown in my application.

i applied to the big 4 but i got rejected by pwc too... deloitte gave me a call and asked me the same ques on the application but yeah i doubt that 'telephone interview' went well coz i didnt even know which firm the person was calling from at first >.<

it was a good experience applying for the stuff but yeah i think i would be rather happy to not get accepted coz i dont like the idea of working full time and studying part time haha

Cadetships are only for accounting :( :( And no offence it's going to be a boring 10 years ticking off boxes (auditing) :D

If only they were Actuarial/Finance cadets, that'll be madddd :D

(also, I heard that you don't do much in your first year lol)

VCE =! intelligence. Just want to clear that up. Also, Firms don't care what you even got for VCE. My friend got into Acc at VU (*pukes* :P) with an ENTER of 70, but he was accepted into a cadetship because he had perfect communication and leadership skills (PwC).
