hahaha. I ditched the "excitedly", Chris Lee seemed more pissed off than excited haha. I'm most worried about my english score, since it has to be in the top 4 it's really freaking me out. Didn't re-read any of my essays so they were probably littered with mistakes too. I don't think Caruso's tips could have saved me. There should be a warning for all people attending the VATE lecture. It won't happen and why the hell do people want it to happen so bad? Just imagine if English wasn't in the top 4, no-one would study for it and Asians [generalisation] would rule the ATAR with Methods, Spesh, Chem and Physics/Bio/Psych in their top 4 as 50 50 50 50...personally I want English there.

Just a thought, but maybe those people who want it are those people who do Asian 5. I sure as hell don't want it. English not being in top 4 will ruin my ATAR.

the "english not in top four" situation can work both ways
beneficial as it emphasises the need for english to be at a suitable level for university students
bad as it disadvantages students who have english as a second language.

the only solution i would see for introducing a non-English top 4 would be for universities to place higher prerequisite SS in english, so that students don't completely neglect the subject
