Changes are hilighted.
All the aditions they have made are things which good legal students would have learnt last year anyway (except for the term 'judicial determination'- I hadn't heard that one used before).

Oh so, would the previous years exams still be completely usable? Or will i find that maybe 3 or 4 questions are irrelevant? And (obviously there is some missing content)

Yep, the previous exams would be fine I think. The new study design has more changes to the skills needed rather than content, but most of the aditions to the skills required are things that legal students should have known last year anyway (they're just making it more obvious what is expected). I would imagine that the vcaa  would put out a practice exam too this year like they did when the study design last changed.

If you want 2011 Legal Studies practice exams, try and get "A+ Legal Notes" or whatever it's called. It has been updated for the new study design - it contains practice exams and so on.

Don't think you can. I think "Free" had an account, then deleted it - thus, he remained as a "guest".

First time poster, long time lurker :P

Legal studies student here aswell! Hoping for a  40+ , but I think I'm underestimating the difficulty in getting a 40+ in legal studies though...

Anyway, it should be good. We get to visit the Supreme Court and, if the school's application went through, Barwon Prison.
So that should be fun... Hopefully. Hahah

Yeah i also went to both places last year.
Barwon prison was pretty interesting because we got to chat with the inmates including a guy that was sentenced to 30 years for murder.
However, the Supreme Court was REALLY boring, nearly our whole class including the teacher nearly feel asleep just listening to a case where the legal personnel and judge was deciding whether a shoe should be included in court as evidence. The argument went on for like 45min then we decided to leave.

I think my teacher told our class about that. Is he the one who got sentenced for killing his girlfriend or something like that? Except he claims he didn't do it?

Hahaha! Lol about shoes? How random hahaha!
