The Line is a book of a fathers experience and a son quest to understand it lol its pretty boring...

The book explores different types of conflict and so on :( very boring and brief overview.

Well the book is centred around father and son combo - Arch (father) and Martin Flanagan.

It is primarily written by Martin, however, there are a series (I think 4) of chapters written by Arch regarding his time during World War 2 where he was a POW.. blah blah blah.... it's basically reflecting on how both Arch and Martins life have been affected by the war..

IMO I think the book is TERRIBLE. It chops and changes so much and is quite confusing... - make sure you read it AT LEAST 3 times.
