It's not as if you can't be better than djtandra. If he's done 60 essays, it's probable that he is better.

IMO it depends on the individual. Some people may only need to do 10 practice essays and feel prepared, others may feel the need to do 30+ essays in preparation for the exam. It really comes down to the individual - it varies from person to person.

I've done about sixty practice essays so far because I need to make sure I get over 25. =)

Seriously though, does doing a 3 hour 1/2 english exam two days ago count?

maybe you mean 60 practice essays over your whole schooling years?

Well given that I hadn't really done much in the way of preparation before the start of this year, I guess you could say over my whole schooling years.

I didn't do them all in one night or anything, just tried to get a couple done here and there. English is my weakest subject and I'm trying to improve.

An Oral sac?
It's way to early for that, especially for English. I agree you start the course, but bring on SACs..
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

I though oral SACS could only be on issues post 1/12/2010, how could one then start in November?

Last year for English 3&4 orientation week we were given a pack of newspaper articles which would contain 3 articles that the language analysis SAC would include, as well as the issues that we could use in our oral presentations. We could therefore write the oral and practice the analyses over the holidays... but this year, everyone's gotta wait until school starts! Arghh!

So did you get the articles of your lang analysis SAC before you actually did it? Thats awesome (except that there are three articles)...
