I'm still waiting to get all my books -_____-
2011 - English, English Language, Philosophy, Indonesian SL, Outdoor and Environmental Studies.

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”
― Hunter S. Thompson

Been reading my English and Literature books. And just free range reading for fun :)

Hamlet Down, Frankenstein Almost finished. Woop Woop!

About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle

Did the Crucible in Year 10, transferred schools, if only I could do the crucible in year 12 in my new school. It would be a breeze.

I agree with your first comment, but I kind of liked rugmaker. It was interesting.

Yeh, it took me a while to get through it too. But I think Ransom is a good book, mainly because it's well written
And there are a few Australian authors who like writing stories that a slow paced...malouf plus Robert drew who wrote the shark net. But malouf's calm and collected story telling manner in ransom is better suited

Just skimmed through, can I add in my two cents?
I wouldn't bother writing any essays at the moment, rather consolidate your knowledge base and understanding of your texts.
If you're really jittery just do language analysis.
If there's one subject you can definately burn out in, it's English.

I dislike Sharknet and Ransom as a whole.
Ransom was far too slow to my liking, however I've read even slower books, check out Heart of Darkness (Joseph Conrad) , super duper slow, and I only found it interesting as it neared the end while Priam was on the road to Achilles.

Sharknet, not my genre.

But boy ohh boy...A Street Car Named Desire. That Play blew my mind away. That play was indeed, a very powerful one! I will enjoy writing essays for that later in the year :)
