The scaled mean is 39.55.

Tbh the only reason why you got a 35 despite an A+ in the exam is probably because it was a low A+ AND your cohort is crappy. :S

i dont understand my results either.
i got B+ B+ and A study score 33
im SLA but shouldnt my sac scores be around A cas i calaled my school and they said my SAC average is 49/50  which is A+ for both units. and my class averages an A also.
so confused !

Each individual part of your Written Exam is compared against that corresponding SAC, and the SAC marks are moderated accordingly.

@OP Don't worry about it, Chinese is one of the most competitive subjects out there, hence the scaling...

if you assume that then we'd all get crazy scaling for english, but most raw scores of english are scaled down
