Japanese I got 26 raw (became 36) but I was honestly expecting at LEAST 32ish raw. Big shock to the system there. Being a white kid in a bilingual game does have it's disadvantages ;P

Although Methods (my "fifth subject" all year) somehow scaled into the 40s,

and English a perfect score. A fucking 50. I had to read the whole page again to make sure it was mine! :P
2009 - Psychology (36)
2010 - {AIMS} English (48+) Methods (~35) Further (~44) Japanese SL (~35) Theatre Studies (43+)

38 is three high As or low A+s. make one of the SACs lower and you need to compensate a bit with the exam.

Yeah, your A and A+ should be mid-high too, I think..

Yeah, mid-high A+

wow, would i be er.. misleading people if i gave my exam scores (when i get the statement of marks back) but not the SS when attempting to tutor? my writing peaked in the weeks before the exam unfortunately :S
in other words, if u saw someone advertising themselves as a tutor and saw eg. 9s for the exam but a 38 SS overall, would you still go with them?

Heh, shocking.. my cohort is very bad at EL, my U4 ended up being 91/100 but then again I think I may have gotten the highest exam mark so that explains a lot. Really expected a 32 here..

Yes.. why not?

It goes to show that English requires continual work and you can just keep on improving. As human beings, we're usually acknowledged/remembered by our last words/actions... so I guess the same can go for you!

Your late peak may even work in your favour in terms of tutoring - you can let your students know how they can peak earlier and do well in an exam-type situation.

I'm confused. I got 47 for lit and I was rank 1. But my friend said her SACs, from A/B standard were audited to C. Is that her own problem? Having 3 ppl score above 40 in a cohort of like 15 I thought we would drag her up.

35 for Methods surprised me a little. I didn't put enough work in leading up to the exams, that's for sure, but I was still hoping for a little more after finishing the year ranked number one for SACs and all. Oh well! I did ok for a slacker :)

Hmmm.... maybe her exam performance dragged her scores down? But the top ranked students did well, so I'm not too sure.. None of this stuff doesn't make any sense because both my English GA's stayed the same at A+, whilst my exam was a C.
