my 39 in english... A+ A+ B+... and i felt my exam was okay. might get a statement of marks. pretty devo!

but in a good way - 39 in solo performance - was expecting below 30 no joke haha
and my 41 in further! expected ~35

likewise with the statement :)
btw what instrument was it?
can't get over how devo i am for english! i know 39 is still good, but it was my best subject by a huuuuge long shot. and the only exam i got B+ on the rest were A or A+ =/

and i play violin :)

nice :) congrats on the 39 btw!
and yea my english is the same as yours but in reverse :S aced the exam, apparently flopped sacs

i'm gonna get my statement of marks i think. just so i know. going into see my teacher tomorrow and she'll see me and be like WHAT HAPPENED???? lol. damn english ruining my life!
however - our 39s and 38s are still very respectable results..but it's frustrating. haha

lol very true, but i never believed my sacs to be that bad you know? completely dillusional! i was regarded as the 2nd best in my cohort for English, amongst people who got A+ as their GA for sacs and yet here i am with this...B+ gah i hate looking at it lol
its funny, after people sk me for my ATAR they ask me for my english SS... if i had $1 for every dropped jaw after not saying 40+...

hard coz sacs mean a lot in eng hey :( and being in a weak cohort is so hard! i definitely understand that, i just go to a regular state school that doesn't at all perform 'bad' but is nothing like some other schools

haha and i know what you mean.. i've had a few people who are like 'well i got 41 so i coz you beat me you must have got like 50' and i'm like uhhhh... 39. lol

further, im starting to think the one mark a study score theory is incorrect

same here. definitely not correct for me this year :\

worked for me. one mark on exam 1 is worth slightly more than a mark on exam 2 though.

i lost 2 on exam 1, and 3 for exam 2 (went through with teacher)
my results showed A+, A+, A+ and got only 43.
so.........
I definitely dropped 5 across both and got 48.....that doesn't make sense.

you probably didnt since even top sac ranking in the best cohort wouldnt get you 48 with 5 marks lost in further..  maybe you got it wrong?
i went over with teacher and got 4-5 marks over both, i should have gotten ~45, no idea what happened, getting statement of marks - so shit.

Methods. Much lower than expected (but this was before the exams).

Also chem, I seriously thought I did infinitely better in the unit 4 exam, but it was the same.

(Also UMEP, I was expecting a 4.0 or a 5.0 if I was super lucky.)

Accounting. Was expecting a 40-42 or so, optimistically a 45.
But nah got 48 =D=D

ouch, but 42 is still very good! :) i'd be more shattered if it was A+ A+ B+, than my B+ A A+...
im a bit frustrated at my english teacher, she knew i was aiming for 40+ and yet never indicated my sacs were less than A or even A+
she did once....but that was in unit 4 :S
