One girl in my English class got nearly 100% for every SAC. I got high 80s or low 90s (max), yet I got 42 and she got 41. SACs don't really say ANYTHING about how well you'll do overall.

How "high" is your methods exam 2 score? You may be surprised how easy it is to drop several study score points with small mistakes.

G'day Mitsi! Good to see you on VN :) I'm not sure if you knew, but like you I was on 100% for SACs in English, not a low A+, so that might help explain things a bit more. Our study scores would have been differentiated purely by the exam so I suppose you are just unlucky to have not performed well on the day or received a more austere marking. A+ being about the top 10-12% of the state, and 40+ being the top 9%, there's a bit of spread in study scores.

I don't agree considering the equal weighing of exam and sacs for eng.
Maybe in the case of maths and science they have less of an impact but getting identical exam 2 results in methods to my mate and having a 2 point disparity is what confuses me not to mention the eng raw result.

The "equal weighting" argument is nonsense if you don't understand the nature of the marks in SACs. :)

dude if i got a 43 Raw in methods I'll be crying cuz then it get's scaled up and I'm set. Unless you're aiming for 99.95 or something then that would kinda suck

They represent a rank pure and simple. they play a large role in your final result as they are used in statistical moderation of your exam result and overall score. My only concern is that mistakes may have been made, the statement should clear that up. No matter how bad your exam result is the simple matter is that it will not alter your rank in sacs nor your letter grade. I know of people who have done badly in exams for psych o all subjects getting b+ and A and who as a result of rank 1 in sacs have achieved the same score as others with A+ in both exams and b+ in sacs - a 39.

To be honest, get the statement and you may be surprised by your actual performance on the exams. Do you KNOW that you got 100% on the first exam? This may just be a generous assumption on your part.

I'm only going by the answers on itute that I checked the day of the exam. Hopefully the statements will clear this up. Don't get me wrong I'm really happy with my result but I find it very strange that I got unexpected raw scores in eng and methods.
Another question is it normal to get a cluster of raw scores that are exactly the same for all your subjects- ie say 42 across the board?

Sure, look at my scores. :P

Edit: Triple 47 is pretty cool too.
