I think the feeling that I'm not repeating Methods is enough to motivate me to do holiday homework - humanities ftw! I'm hopefully going to start on the Legal and BM work, so long as the bookstore gets the books in. ==

new study design? its the same with psych as well. I wished publishing companies would hurry up and print textbooks before the year starts

Read one of my English books, wrote out some system cards for EL, finished the assigned questions for Philosophy, really light stuff just for the moment.

Probably try and really get stuck in after Christmas.

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

Right now, all I've done is a couple of chapters worth of questions from my Chemistry and Physics books.

Eventually I'll re-read my English novels, read the new novel when I get it and watch the new film text.

As far as Accounting and Economics goes, nothing so far but I will make a start on them soon.

Who needs to print off exams when everything's electronic these days! you could be saving the environment instead!

I'm poor I care about the environment too much, so I'll just keep using my stuff from last year. :D

I'm the same.

Unless I really need a new textbook (i.e. new study design), then I'll buy mine second-hand from school. It's cheaper than retail and in most cases, still in good condition.

in general, i buy all my second hand, even if theres a new edition. I find that depending on which subject it is, there is only a few minor changes, or heck, for heinmann's maths books.. a new edition basically meant a different cover, a few changes to solutions, and different pictures. fantastic.

anyway, at the moment im meant to be doing my holiday homework; but as you can see im procrastinating :) Im planning to do a few practice exams, read macbeth.... which is one of the set texts this year, find a detailed study topic for chinese... and maybe a chapter out of every book.

thushan, how much are you aiming to do for Spesh? I dunno whether I should go ahead much, I've only done chapter 11, but I see no use unless I can finished a whole Unit? By that I mean I wanna finish the whole of nit 3 Chem, otherwise you gotta make the choice to concurrently learn both old stuff and new stuff when you reach the end of the Unit?

Once again, very nice scores haha

English - Just reading for now :(
Spesh - Chapter 2 of Essentials
Methods - Done about 1/4 of book so far (so boring)
Chem - Yet to start (need to though)
Physics - Still going over yr 11 stuff I didn't ace (maybe one week left)

Will work a a bit harder after Ashes is over ;)

Wow, you're so prepared. Change that to:
2011:
English Language 3/4 (50), Chemistry 3/4 (50), Physics 3/4 (50), Specialist Maths 3/4 (50), German 3/4 (50)

If there's anyone who can get 7 50s, you're the one to do it! :)

7 50s and a 5.5 in uni chem ;)
