does the uni actually check how each individual performed in their prerequisites to choose who is accepted?

ur talking about vce prereqs?

you just need to get the cutoff i.e. 25
and then they consider your atar score and any other requirement vtac lists

i'd have preferred if they checked individual performances in the prerequisites, seeing as there are some people who achieve a high ATAR but thanks to non-prerequisites like LOTE subjects......

unless there are bonus aggregate points for getting over a specific study score then you would have a chance (for middle band)
