Ninwa you are so harsh!

Galvanic cell, getting A+ for end year with A+ sacs and B for mid year, will get you around ~35 depending on how/high low will change.

And vidang- there's no way you'll get anywhere close to <30, i'd say low 30s with 30 being absolute min if both those B's were borderline C+ and your ranking wasn't that good.

What really? :(

I try not to give inflated scores because I don't want people to be disappointed when results day comes but I didn't think it was that bad.

Generally (I thought)
3 A+ = 38-50
3 A = 34-38
3 B+ = 30-34
and then it gets a bit iffy after that

To galvanic cell, with A+, A, A+ (Assuming a high A) you could scrape a 40 with a decent cohort.

3 of my friends had exactly the same GAs, went to shit/ok schools. all ended up with 40 raw last year

C+/B average is a ~30
For most subjects 3 A+ is 40 and above too.
But yeah better to be cruel so they can be suprised on results day then disappointed;)

guys I agreed with you re: galvanic cell... :S
physics: 35/36 (very low As/A+s) - 43 (very high As/A+s, that's the highest SS I've heard anyone get with A+ A A+)
chemistry: 31/32 (very low) - 37 (very high)

@ vexx
I figured since he's getting Bs for the exam his cohort is weaker, therefore his A SAC mark will get dragged down too

haha good reasoning, but perhaps not, some people like to assume the worst.
i just assume cohort is average.

thanks guys,
yer i guess our cohort is weak?
we have a not too flash teacher for chem and my b was the highest exam mark in the class (only 6 people in our class),
my a in physics was also the highest in the class so im expecting this will mean my sac will go down,
also are these marks before or after scaling?
thanks

they are raw.

well your sac grade is only really effected if you are not rank 1 in your school here, so stay rank 1 for sacs in those subjects do as best as you can for the exam and you won't be disadvantaged by your cohort as much.

My school only had 3 A+'s for the chem mid year, would you say the cohort is weak?
