Hi Guys, not sure if I am in the right thread but here goes.  My daughter (average student in public school) wants to know.  She is doing Business Management, Psych, English Language these 3 being her strongest subjects.  She is also doing Methods (CAS) and IT. Question: At what point does the system decide where subjects 4 and 5 fall on the enter calculations.  Do they alot places for subjects 4 and 5 on the raw scores, putting maths in 5th,  or do they scale the scores up and down first, and then alot positions.  If for instance she ended with raw scores of MM 31 and IT 32, which of the two subjects would be put into subject no 4 place.  If it is at the raw score stage, she will have to look at possibly failing IT.  Her performance so far has both these subjects almost equal.  She is hoping the system scales first, which would probably put maths in fourth place, and IT as 5th?  Are we overthinking this?

It's scaled first. Don't worry. :)

I was wondering whether how strong our cohort is in the subject can affect our study scores?

EXAMPLE:

Like a genius that gets A-A+ for GA1,2,3 in methods, is ranked number one whole year level, but the rest of the year level is not so strong in this subject, does this drag the genius down? O_O

no, if his marks in the exam reflect his sac marks, he won't be punished for his year's results
