So according to the idea that u need to pass all three GAs to get a study score, that must mean that I won't be getting a methods study score considering I slept during both exams and can't see myself getting more than 2 marks on each exam (in all seriousness). Does that mean my methods study score will be zero? Not that I care.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think by "pass" they mean don't get UG. The fact that you have sat the exam means you won't get UG, you'll just get E (or whatever the lowest grade is) and get a SS of like, <10.

I think according to the grade distribution, for Methods 1 on some years you can get a mark and get an E, I think.

Don't quote me on this though.

I had a look through the grade distributions for some random subject ( accounting) and it said 0-9 = UG, 10-21 = E, So it looks like you need to get at least something to pass?

I'm not so sure, but...

The Graded Assessments are different for each study and contribute towards the study score in different ways. If you complete at least two Graded Assessments, and have satisfactorily completed both unit 3 and 4, you will be awarded a study score.

As for the scenario provided by NG, it's highly unlikely that you'll attain a study score in that subject if you get UG for SACs, purely because your teacher would be unable to give you an S for the subject - thus you wouldn't be eligible for a study score. But if you satisfactory complete your SACs and exam 1 for example, but get a UG for exam 2, I'm pretty sure you can still get a SS, albeit a low one

would there be a difference in results?

also:

SACs: A (81%)
Exam 1: A (very high)
Exam 2: A (highest possible again or low A+)

Guys, i'm really stressing about English. I know i'll get the ENTER i need, but English being a pre-requisite might ruin me as i might not get the score i need for English. I only need 20 for English, but i'm stressing. What SS would i get for English if i get around a C - C+ on my SACS, and around a C to D on the exam?

With those scores you would easily make 20.

'93% of students will get a score on or above 20.'

Last year 95% of students obtained a D+ or greater on the English exam.

Therefore with a D on the exam you would most likely get less than 20.
Don't forget that last year a 'D' equated to an average of between 2 and 2.833333 out of 10.

getting a 20 in english is about straight D+'s and 25 is around straight C's

you'd probs be sitting somewhere in there

Yeah, I got a PM from them as well but I decided to post it here.  :)

Overall, I guess I was a bit generous with my predictions.  Thanks.  Although I was pretty close, Jedi Master Ninwa.  :P
