Calm down iNerd, you stress too much, we're just having a laugh...

I'm sure your a great bloke ermm man well person.

Seriously though, your going to get like a 99.95 ATAR seeing as you've been preparing from grade -17, so you'll have the last laugh with a 99.95 ATAR.

lol!

With his 29 years of prep, he'll definitely be in either his top tier (98+) or if not that, the limbo tier (97.05-97.95)!

And yes, its just for a laugh (no offence/bullying meant whatsoever)

Thanks guys! I think with the excessive amount of time I have these holidays I'll opt to handwrite. Not only to help myself remember information.. but I also satisfy my OCD of writing pages neatly, then looking at my masterpiece!

IMO, although it may be longer to write, i think it's definitely better.
Why? Because, in the exam you write, not type. And Legal is a writing subject, a long with english, i don't know about the rest of your subs.
Also, when you type, you'll be tempted to copy slabs of information, because it's so easy to do so, and then you'll find you have a lot of redundant information

No more off topic someone will get mad.

I personally would say to handwrite for subjects like chem, but say for Psych/BM/Geo/History sort of subjects where most of what you do is writing, typed  up notes look like they would come in very handy :)

Handwriting for sure, especially for subjects like maths; typing out calculus is a pain. Also, I find that you remember better when you handwrite.

I'm usually a proponent of handwriting since you have to hand write on your exam, so you need to be comfortable doing that. However, if you are going to keep referring back to the notes then maybe it's good to have a typed copy as well so that you have an electronic back-up, and it's really easy to make additions without it looking messy.

No notes for maths.

Generally I don't write any notes. But the best system is hand writing THEN typing, I think. So you go over it multiple times and can perfect the content/format etc.

I dont know what's wrong with me - I typed up BM and it seemed to wok but I'm still doubting whether it's better for my this year or not... Argh. If I type I'd use OneNote... Maybe for psych and l3egz...

Also pi and asianboy - Stop creating trouble for the sake of it. Or at least do it elsewhere :P

Don't forget - if you have a scanner you can always scan in your hand-written page for backup (I sometimes do that) :D

I wouldn't recommend handwriting AND typing, I think it'd be better to keep your handwritten ones organised better (folders etc).
I personally think typing up notes is a waste of time, especially if your typing notes that you already have written down - you'd be better off re-reading your written notes to double up on your memory.

This topic about whether to hand write or type notes has been raised so much in the last six months, just hand write it and get it over and done with.

It's not worth agonising over.

Love doing it for English (context especially). Just having random ideas all on one page that I can later refer to and that can also be changes easily.
