whats the verdict on using this as an example for questions on micro that ask for "over the past 10 years"? since its before that.. except its a really big/important one. and there hasnt really been thaat much happening with micro reform recently.. plus i really like the NCP lol.

my teacher isnt sure. and im scared because i read on a compak thing that one of the things done wrong is people talking about things outside the 10 year boundary.

what are your thoughts?

and if not, what else are you going to be talking about instead?

what about the recent labour market reforms? deregulation in the telecommunications industry, GST, corporate taxation, and the dividend imputation credits

the things I'll talk about if I can choose are: labour market, Aus fta with the US, and the full privatisation of Telstra.

Telstra was partially privatised by the Commonwealth Government in two public offerings in 1997 and 1999. On 20 November 2006 Telstra became majority privately-owned, with the government's 51.8% stake reduced to roughly 17.0% after the sale of two thirds of its shares.

well techincally, it's fully privatised as private ownership is greater than government ownership.
