Wow almost everyone here has said they're doing matrices as one of their modules. I'm running a poll on the website
www.vcefurthermaths.com and it's winning by far at the moment. This module was new in 2006 and the uptake has been pretty slow, so it's good to see so many schools have taken it on!
Geo and trig has been by far the most popular in the last few years, but looks like matrices might be going to overtake it this year. 14% of students did it in '06, then 30% in '07, 36% in '08 and nearly half of all the further students in '09. Hmm. There might be a tute in that. If the relationship between percentage of students and year were graphed, what would the shape, direction and approximate r value be?... *Groan* Sorry. Habit.
