Hey Guys,
I've got this friend who recieved only one offer and although its good it was not her first preference and was wondering what her options are now. I am no help because I got my first preference and will simply accept and that's that. Could someone just tell me her options if thats alright becuase i cant find it anywhere. Sorry if it sounds vague,
Thanks  :)

P.S . When I mean options, I mean like in terms of 2nd round offers and what happens if she accepts/declines that offer she was given. Thanks

Lots of Karma for people who can help :)

Accept the offer, she has a chance to get in the higher up preferences granted she meets the prereqs (for 2nd  round offer)

Heys how can you know if you meet the prereqs?
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

You can only receive one offer per round so that's not unusual.

But do what _avO says:

Accept the offer, she has a chance to get in the higher up preferences granted she meets the prereqs (for 2nd  round offer)

because there is no guarantee that she will get another offer.  If she rejects this offer and doesn't get any other offers, then she will be without a place for the first half of 2011.

If you meet the pre-requisites including completing the relevant year 12 subjects, meeting all the selection requirements then you would satisfy the pre-reqs.
