I did Uni Accounting this year and managed to get quite low marks in it since I wasnt trying very hard.

Will my subjects ATA and ARA affect my GPA when I apply for graduate medicine? How can I make them not count towards my GPA if I was going to melbourne university?

If they're credited towards your course then yes they will count, because they're part of the most recent 3 years of study.

If you're starting an entirely new course and not crediting them, they will be on your academic transcript but won't be used for GPA purposes.

You can either credit them or rescind them at any time by filling out a form and submitting it to the student centre. Be warned that they say they don't like people applying for credit having previously rescinded it, but I've never heard of it affecting anybody. I rejected the credit for my UMEP subject, then later applied for the credit to get through a loophole in something and didn't have any problems.
