According to the Melbs it's 10am on Jan 31st !

/cries/ Life is so unfair I'm going to be at uni five days a week to do two subjects.

as if..?

Well considering I can't accept the irregular offer until the fourth I'll miss timetabling >:

if you are doing only two subjects, I'm sure it wont be 5 days.. It's just two subjects... Why only two anyway?

Because I will have credit for breadth and psychology so I only have to do 50 points all year, 25 per sem.

why wouldn't you just start second year subjects, or do extra electives so you can have a lighter load in second and/or third year where the work is harder? :\

Because I want to save money for exchange by working more next year (as in like, part time job working) and I'm not sure what I will major in exactly :)

Also I can't do a whole bunch of second year subjects because I won't have done Biology or Chemistry until 2012.

Are subjects that are compulsory meant to automatically appear on my study plan?

Ah I see, I see. Though you could do all your breadth/electives, but that's your choice xD

Just enter nothing, then hit search.  It should then come up with the different pathways you can choose.

It took us ages to work this out too haha.

Timetabling isn't that bad, I've always gotten what I wanted from it (science classes are way better than arts classes for timetabling).

Also, just so you know, being there at 10am isn't going to help you much. The server will lag and it'll take 5 minutes to load the study plan timetable app and when it does, it'll tell you there are no vacancies. Way easier to wait a few hours or days and then do it (they don't even open up all the spots on the first day)

edit,

2011 diaries are now available, once you get your student card you can pick one up from your student centre. And if you want to avoid the flood of new students, go grab one now. A little birdie also told me that Biomedicine scholarships were sent out on Thursday the 19th

No, you won't get your student card on AAD. If you revisit the university between AAD and O week you can though

Don't worry, they will stagger the release of class spots so everyone will get a chance to pick their classes :P
