Did anyone receive an email for the camp? Anyone interested in going?

I got one, but I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna go. Personally, I'd rather spend $75 on something else.

Fark that!

This is what you want to go on!

Absolute best piece of advice I could possibly give any new student. You'll go into uni knowing a couple of hundred new people and will pretty much assure yourself that you will know at least a bunch of people at literally every social event you go to. O'Camp is where a lot of friendship groups form, too: a lot of people who don't go to it come to uni and go to bbqs and stuff thinking 'Wtf, how does everyone know each other? Did I miss something?' The answer is yes. Yes you did. :P

Plus, it's awesome fun! ;)

There's the engineering camp, called E*Trip, which I also went on. It's definitely much, MUCH messier than science camp, but a lot of fun. I personally preferred science camp, but if you can, go on both.  ;)

Also arts camp if you're an arts kid, but I wouldn't really be thinking about going on this if you aren't. Arts tend to stick to their own, while science, eng and biomed mingle a lot more.

Don't go on Eng. camp unless you want to die.
Don't hold out for the camp of your faculty either guys, because
a. it's not necessarily the best one
and
b. some sell out far too quickly for you to be in for a chance.

Last year, Eng. was offering their tickets around for a week or so but my friends and I woke up at 4am to line up for Arts tickets and all the college kids stole them first.  We didn't get to go to any camps!
But I've heard SSS camp is great, I might even consider going since I might be a first year again and all that jazz.

It is true and that kind of stands for science camp too, or so I heard from a girl I met at orientation.
Less death though, less death.

Wow that Destination Melbourne 'camp' looks so lame. I could do all those things for free. Yes, I'm Asian. ;D

I went on both. Eng camp was absolutely insane. Science was less intense but I was still walking blind half the time. :P
