Transfer from a double degree to a single degree?

I know the student needs to have a certain % to transfer to another course (e.g 70%)
But what if a student is doing really good in one degree (80%) but really bad in the other degree (50%)?

Then you're average would be around 65% and that should give you a glimmer of hope.

Or you can just drop the degree that's averaging 50% and you'll be doing a single degree.
