Chill out.

Rule of thumb: if you have a question, figure it out yourself from information on the website. If you have a ridiculously specific question, make a time to see the subject coordinator. If you want to see a subject coordinator, don't attempt to do so when 5,000+ new students are all wandering around the uni.

Didn't they have a stand of course advisors that were handing out appointment cards?

There was a table in the foyer at the Spot that was surrounded by a crap load of people. If you managed to wait long enough, they'd give you an appointment card with date + time.

Maybe that's why so many people kept asking us for appointments: we had a table set up on the ground level of the spot foyer. :P

Nah, I think they all thought you looked like course advisors.  :P

It took ages to get through that enormous cluster of people in the Spot, but eventually managed it.

My favourite session I went to was the Physics one, the guy talking, Roger, was highly amusing even if his ridiculously lame puns wanted to make you bash your head against the nearest wall.
The Finnish word pilkunnussija, which translates literally to “comma fucker,” is someone who risks his social wellbeing to annoyingly and persistently point out punctuation errors.
