Cleoxo's practice exam collection is awesome and i'll give him a *s---load* of karma as soon as i can  :D but it would be impossible for any one
human to compile every single practice exam for biology 3/4 : ) If anyone has any links or hosting it would be HUGELY appreciated if you can post it here!
Thanking you in advance

Go to VCAA for official past exams (but you probably already have).

Hope it helps! :)

(btw isn't it a bit early for prac exams? -not that I did many :( )

I did my first practice exam today. fml got about 50%

Its a bit early to do practice exams. You will run out papers to do by the exam period. I highly suggest that you take more time into revising concepts and have a wider reading of the material rather than doing past papers.

This is because you may not fully understand the questions, hence your 50%, and then when you redo the question you will already know the answer.

There are various e-books and three different biology textbooks (Nelson, Heinamenn and Nature of Biology) which you should read.

Last year I owned all three books and found that each one explain something differently which made my understanding of the fundamentals much clearer.

Unless you've actually covered the course, WAAAAAYYYY too early to start prac exams... pointless really

+1, might even lose some morale with potential low scores...

There are more exams on this thread and a couple on this thread and this thread.

Haven't seen many Neap or A+ ones though...

Hey,

I've attached a copy of the 2007 Neap unit 3 trial exam, which I'm pretty sure I found in
Cleoxo's folder. I have pretty much exhausted the full range of unit 3 trial exams offered
on this site and managed to dig up about 60. But I was too lackadaisical and have only
managed to do 15 so far  :P

Most students don't even do that many before exams. At this rate you will complete all the exams you've managed to find.

I didn't even do 15 exams in the whole year (big mistake, mid you)!

I really think it is too early to be doing exams though

Agreed unless you've had someone teach the entire unit to you comprehensively.

Haha nah I covered units 3 and 4 biology along with units 1 and 2 last year lol  ;D
I guess I got bored and this year I pretty much revised most of the course so that's
why I am starting to do practice exams.

Sheeez. 3 + 4. I understand why you would cover unit 3 now, but it's a bit early for unit 4 imo - i would probably forget everything by the time semester 2 starts :/
