How many hours is everyone getting. I am used to like 30hrs of school a week and now the 22hrs im getting now seems wayyyyyyy too much  >:(

I get like 12 hours.

12.5 hrs..  2.5 days of uni  yeah i got no excuse now i have to get a job :p

well 22 hours including everything. like lectures plus the lab work and everything. nope no double degree. Just biomed.

Am I doing something wrong :S

are the people with 12.5 counting all lab work included because if we are just talking lectures then I have like 11.5 hours.

12 hours I think. 22 hours is a lot, but do you have labs as well as tutes for one subject. That might bulk up your hours.

The number of contact hours you have does depend on what degree you're doing... Arts and Commerce are well known for having the fewest contact hours, while degrees like Engineering and Medicine have very high contact hours.

I'm used to having 30+ hours. Now the next three years I'm doing everything in hospital so that means standing up half the day and not being able to fall asleep in lectures/tutes anymore. Don't complain :P

12 hours for me. But they expect students to do a lot of reading outside uni :/

Yeah I have a lot of outside work as in labs.

3 lectures and a 3-hour small group session for Biomedical chemistry
Three 1-hour lectures and one 2-hour support class per week for Maths - Analysis of change
3 lectures and 3 hours laboratory and problem solving per week for Medical biophysics
3 lectures and a 3-hour practical or equivalent per week for Cells, tissues and organisms

23 actually :|

Yeah I'm doing business so the uni hours is forgiving compared to biomed

Hate this sem - 16hrs... last year I only had 14hrs (subs are better tho) :(
