Best calculator for non-maths subjects?

What would be the best (read: most time saving) calculator to use in exams for subjects other than maths or subjects where calculators that are not programmable or with symbolic functions are allowed?

Anything from http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/b2c/display/(cpgsize=10&layout=5.1-25_120_120_190_192_191_193_204_5_120_120_206_120_120_201_72_120_120_195_196_120_14&uiarea=14&carea=4C3B55A96EBF09F2E1008000AC193D36&cpgnum=1)/.do?rf=y would be good.

Some of my thoughts:

Fx100Au has a SOLVE function - what does that mean?
Ti-30XB seems pretty good - would it be allowed? It has a table function that eg for tabling y = 5 + x for x values from 5 to 10
HP SmartCalc 300s seems decent - thoughts?

Good value as well! I'm fairly certain that it's allowed in VCAA exams...it's definitely approved for the SAT sciences.

hah awesome looks like i'll grab that ;)
i have the nspire 1, is there anything about the 2nd one worth upgrading for?
i wish it had buttons to skip to the start or end of a line.. ffs

Do you have one? didn't it come onto the booklist this year for the year 9's?

I bought it from my brother (now MHS year 10) for a $2 discount (he bought 2 with a $5 discount off the total price, or something like that)! (yes, my brother is pretty shifty sometimes)

I think the fx 82-AU is a fairly decent calculator and it can
store a few calculations or values so you can to an extent
erradicate care less errors. ;D
