Don't know where else to put this since these aren't really notes.
Here are some of the questions that I lost marks on in Unit 3 and 4 last year and the solutions are my own which I redid which were awarded full marks by my teacher.
Hope this helps  :)

in legal studies, are we allowed to say "I believe...." if the question says invites an opinion? do the q's ever invite opinions?

I would suggest not writing "I believe," as it's not a valid source to fuel your arguments. When a question invites an opinion, simply state whether it is 'good' or 'bad,' and back up with your reasoning.

For instance:
"I believe seperations of powers is a good thing because ______" <  "Seperations of powers ensures that ______, because of _____"

I've never seen a question come up which invites us to share our opinion e.g Do you agree?.
In one of the 10 mark questions, I wrote "I agree that Parliament is an effect law maker, however, while it is effective in creating legislation, there are still some weaknesses in the way Parliament carries out this role." but you can take away the "I agree that".

I agree with what Hellhole said; I wouldn't write "I believe..". It's better to just answer the question without using personal pronouns. It's not a set rule or anything, though it's not advised to.

I agree. Having said that, if anything, questions like "To what extent do you agree with the above statement?" may appear on SACs or even on the exam - it was on Question 7 of last year's exam. Even then, I wouldn't start with "I believe..".

Oh, forgot about that question...Guess I was wrong about there not being that type of question
Yeah I think I didn't start with I agree or disagree with that question, I think I wrote something along the lines of "Tribunals provide people effective access to methods of dispute resolution due to it being lowcost......faster etc."
