You should be able to view your timetable, what's wrong when you try?

The booklist is a useless tool, just use the handbook/wait until later in semester

I am going to the uni tomorrow. But seriously im so sad right now, i've worked so hard to get into bachelor of science at melb uni and someone has lodged a withdrawal of the course through my student portal :(

the withdrawal form was lodged 11/02, i only remember logging into the ERC library computers that morning :(

Does that mean my timetable is gone?! i've enrolled for all my subjects and have already chosen the times and days for it :/

Wow, that's a bit of a dick move by whoever did that.

Don't worry, though. Course advisors can do pretty much whatever they want, so putting you back in the course won't require going through vtac or any nonsense. If they can't do it immediately, just ask them who you can speak to higher up in order to ensure it gets done and make a report about it.

Lesson #1: Never leave your portal logged in on a public computer. That's up there with leaving your netbank logged in.

And yes your timetable is probably gone, but that's no big deal.

Cuddlekins,

I suggest changing your password as soon as you can. You'll never know if your account was hacked.

To have yourself enrolled into your course again, you need to go though Student Management Services. Just ask at EPSC tomorrow morning to make a report and of course, there will be forms to fill out. You'll probably get into your course again since it wasn't your fault

Don't worry about your timetable. If you find me at EPSC this Friday in the morning, I can fix your timetable for you ;) Otherwise the course advisors are pretty helpful - just go a bit early :P

Okay calm down.
It took them a good 10 working days to process my course withdrawal and it'll be around the same for you.
You have time!

Course withdrawal is final - if you withdraw from your course then you cannot take it back.

You should change your password.  Go and do it right now.

There should be an option to modify your application for course withdrawal somewhere in the form under 'view my current applications'.
Change the date on which you 'propose course withdrawal' to something a year away or similar, as far away as possible.  Even 2050 if you want to.
This way there is no possible way the Uni can withdraw you before you get there to stop them.

What a douche.  Applying for course withdrawal after "hacking" (I'll use this term) into someone's portal is the lowest thing you could do.

thanks guys for the responses. I went to a EPSC today and they told me that they need 2 staff members and a higher administration person to fix this problem. This process will take up to 4 days. Firstly how do i change my password?

You should use this https://accounts.unimelb.edu.au/manage/login/student

I think rustic has posted something similar. So you need to fill in your details on this page. If you haven't got a student ID, leave the library barcode blank. If 'verification failure' comes up, leave the postal code blank. Once you're in, press the reset button next to the account name and put in your new password
