Just curious, also thought everyone could use this thread to make sure they're staying on track throughout the year. No slacking off!

My class is up to generation, I've done around 2 pages so far...

Lol it's nice to say not to procastinate, but for the record i've always been a procastiantor.

I did not start my folio until mid-april (when the IPL began)

Then i would spend about 3-4 hours each night watching cricket and working on my vis comm folio - in the end i had about 4 full folios worth of work and got full marks -

Do not worry if you have not done too much by now - VCD is just one of those subjects where procastinating comes naturally - just dont leave TOO MUCH for the end

Well you guys have the right apporach, i have to say - atleast your mid year exams will get mroe attention if you finish your folios early :) that is if you have a mid year exam.

Im just saying that IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE much, then don't worry, you still have time ;) ,  but it would be good to have done something by now...

The problem with your folios is that you need to spend time on them (I probably spend too much on them) but you also need to make sure you are looking over the past exams so that you can used to the exam layout.
Try and get used to the time management of the exam which is what tripped up many people last year since there was a lot more content than usual.

Hi there, I have a few VCD queries.
I just did my first professional practice sac, and for media I wrote inkjet (since he used a printer to print the book once completed(illustrator)) Is this wrong? Would I get a mark off for adding that if it was? There was a list.
Also is 'printing' a method? Printing as in printing from a printer.

I'm scared I thought too logically and literally about it.. and put printer information when it really didn't require that.

Would it be wrong/right?

Well, if it was illustrated I would have said paints/watercolours/inks/whatever was made to produce the original, plus then inkjet printing as a media, printing still counts as this.

I assume just saying it was mass produced for consumer purchases through the utilisation of inkjet printer, would also be correct.... depends how many marks the question was?

It was one mark, do you think I would get it wrong?
Basically the question specifically required us to LIST the METHODS, so i listed them and included 'printing' (intended to be mass production style printing for retail purposes - but i didn't state this, just the word printing)
and to list the MEDIA; I just wrote 'ink' (intended to mean like inkjet printing ink)

Listing for a mark wouldnt require further elaboration since 'ink' and 'print' have multiple meanings right?
Sorry I'm just really stressing atm :( 1 mark does evil things to me

Don't stress! It's only one puny mark!
If it said list rather than explain and is only one mark (half a mark per media/method), I think it would be right.

materials - ink, toner (laser printing), inkjet printing
methods - printing - that is the key word, inkjet/laser printing need not be mention, if u have PRINTING written down for method, you are fine

Do you guys think 15~20 pages is good enough for now? I'm stressing so bad.
I want to be an architect, not a doctor.
