GPA/WAM record after course change?

I got to transfer to the course I think would suit me best. (Woot).
Is my transcript wiped clean so that my first year GPA/WAM will not effect my second and subsequent years?

Oh and by new course, I mean from the Science department to Engineering department. Not sure if that makes much of a difference.

your results page will show two separate GPAs, one for old course which you can no longer change and another for your new course which will progress as per normal.

All the subjects you got credit for for your new course will count towards your GPA I believe. I got all my subs credited when I did an internal transfer, but I believe if you don't get all of them credited only the credited subs ill count towards your GPA.
