Bachelor of Science

Hi, I know its only been 3 days since uni started but I'm finding it really difficult for me to understand what is being taught in ATS1310(Geoscience). Frankly the last time I did geography was in Year 10! My questions are is it still possible to transfer out? and whether or not it is possible to not do any of the geosciences.
According to the bsc requirements, I have to undertake 3 sequences.
My units so far are:

-BIO1011/1022
-CHM1011/1022
-STA1010
-ATS1310/1309
-BTH1011

I'm thinking that maybe I could do physics or IT since I've done it in VCE

It is possible for you to change your subjects up until the end of next week. After then you can only drop out of subjects.

Is there any particular subject that you were interested in?
Religion and Society (38), IT - Software Development (45) English (35), Chemistry (49), Methods CAS (48), Specialist Maths (50)
ENTER: 99.15

2010 - Bachelor of Science(Maths)/Engineering(Chemical) - Monash Clayton

Well not really...but I could do physics although I don't know how much of a help it'll be as I am planning to transfer into the Bachelor of Biotech or Pharmaceutical Science in 2nd year.

But it is possible not to take Geosciences right? :S

However if you transfer during this two week gap then you don't have to pay for the unit you're moving out of. Physics applies to that course you want more than geoscience will simply due to the skills you learn from prac reports.
2009: Legal Studies
2010: English, Specialists Maths, Maths Methods, Physics, Music Styles
2011: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics) & Bachelor of Science at Monash.

Haha thanks for your help guys! I just registered into FIT1002 :)
Now I'm sorta curious as to how long it'll appear on my monash and blackboard as well as the booklist as I need to catch up fast!
Any ideas on what books I have to buy for FIT1002? :)

@Mystikal: I'm pretty sure there isn't any mid-year options for pharm science...not too sure about biotech yet eventhough I am doing the prereqs for it

^ I'm doing fit1002 as well. Unless you're good at programming you'll need the book which is, Java Foundations: Introduction to Program Design & Data Structures 2ed Text + CD International Version.

Nothing wrong with the stuff you learn, but the lectures are incredibly boring. If you happen to get David Green as the lecturer, then you're better off skipping the lectures.

EDIT: Oh and the tutes are just worse, they're held in these extremely depressing/gloomy/greyish rooms. All you do is just look at slides and the tutor goes around the room asking everyone questions from the tute sheet. Worst 50 minutes of my life  :idiot2:

LOL at -2, because that means so much to me haha

lol I really liked FIT1002, although FIT1008 is much better.

Yeah but if you get David Green skip all the lectures - I started skipping from first week. It was a good decision.

Yeah David Green is the only lecturer for Clayton Monash for FIT1002, and i find that reading the book works MUCH better than watching his slides. Its like his slides are too simplified that you don't get jack
