HI guys! We've JUST done our membrane sac on beetroots and tests temperture/ PH and alcohole effects....

but can i please ask your opinions on these questions?

1. some (ph) solutinos affected membrane almost immeidately, others took longer. Suggest some resons for the time differences.

2. Do you think the mechanism that caused heat damage would be the same for a range of temperatures? Expalin by referring to effect of heat on different components of the membrane and also to one of the well-known properties of water.....

3. How can we make the expierment more objective/ quantiative?
