Don't delete facebook, don't delete DOTA, don't delete your account.
Instead, learn to use all of these less and only when you have time to spare, or when you need to (For VN and FB more than anything).

You are a yr 11 so learn to balance this stuff out now so next year you aren't cutting yourself off from everything.

As for not wanting to study, there are plenty of motivators. Fear, competition or legitimately wanting to do well are the first three that come to mind. Try and harness one of these as a source of motivation. Alternately, read up on BM 3/4 for some s1ck motivation theories (ha).

LMAO.

LMAO'd for 2 reasons:

1) Josh's joke about Burb's 50 @MHS assembly was brought back to mind
2) It's something Dev would say :P

Yeah deactivated for the month before exams because I didn't learn to cut down during the year. Doesn't make my point invalid though.

Try what andrewloppol did for VCE:

At the end of 2009, I put a small piece of paper on my wall:

Quote
"You will get 35+ RAW in all your subjects and score an ATAR of 95+.
You will gain entry to the Bachelor of Biomedicine.
You will do this through hard work, sacrifice and diligence."

I burst into 2010 with a stack of motivation... motivation to achieve the self written goals above... something to achieve and a dream to work towards...

And what burb's said is essential, time management and a healthy balance is important. Don't be like some yr12s and cut yourself from things you found enjoyable.

Although, I would avoid using 'competition' as motivation, sure you'll get work done in that time, but I've seen plenty of people have personality flips (for the worse) due to it to.

Also, work in a room without access to internet, then you can't procrastinate.

Hahaha I've been procrastinating a lot too. Don't worry and don't deactivate. (Well, if you have to, get someone to change all your passwords for the month before exams).

If you use Google Chrome, this is amazing:

It's been working pretty well for me. :)

Hahaha, I give myself an hour for everything (facebook, VN, youtube and everything else).
Used to give myself 30 minutes but then kept going back to change it with 3 minutes to go.
