OK so we're getting a week to research information for a 'research report' on a specific group in the American Revolution.

For all you Revs kids, how did you structure this report? Did it have subheadings or was it similar to an essay?

Is this a SAC? :-O

We never had a research SAC - just a short, double period task. :) I just filled out a table-template with information. I would think that you can use subheadings, but maybe clarify with your teacher? :/

We have this SAC as well coming up in week 10. We are allowed a "reference book" in which we categorise important events in chronological order, starting in my case with the Edict of emancipation. Before the start of the February 1917 revolution we have 18 such events and perhaps 1-2 pages on each. We are going to melb uni library in order to research further for this book and looking at Robert Service's first 40 odd pages in order to fill in some information. In the SAC we have to construct a timeline of events which answer the following 5 or so questions and how they cause a domino effect in leading to a revolutionary situation.

To be honest i am terrified, as i dont know kind of questions are going to come up..

Ahh we had this sac about 2 weeks ago... Topic was "How did lenin apply marx's theories to the specific revolutionary circumstances in Russia?"

I just did a few paragraphs, 1 each on lenin and marx, 1 on the circumstances in Russia, 1 on how he altered Marx's theories to suit.. etc. etc
