Googled it up, turns out in America, most of the big $$$k jobs are med related (not surprising).
Surprised actuaries weren't on there
Actuaries make a good amount of money reasonably easily, i.e. 100/200 grand. Form there, you have to become partner or higher to really earn the big bucks.
If you're interested in commerce, finance/accounting double major is also a really good path. It's a tough slog but the accounting will get you a analyst job, then the fiance will allow your career to grow by having a wise knowledge. You'll have to get your CA though and that's not the best 18 months of your life..... I'm actually having coffee with a partner from Deloitte this week to talk about tossing up between doing actuarial studies as my major, or switching over to accounting finance.
If you know enough people and have enough connections then commerce will let you earn loads.
Just wondering does anyone know how much a judge would get paid??
200ish grand. Decent Jobs in commercial law firms start at 200 grand and can go up to 2 million if you're partner. Just saying if you were interested in law...
Though it isn't related to your question, being a judge isn't the most funnest of jobs.
Had 1 week work experience, and some of the proceedings during of the day, I'd rather do maths question than listen to the cases..
haha, depends what cases you get, but yes, the majority of cases are shit boring. I did my work experience at mallesons, they had awesome food, but i also wasn't exactly inspired to go write contracts for the rest of my life :/
Train drivers earn $120k. Get on it. Be hated by everyone, get paid well.
Go to WA and get into mining, shitloads of money there if you can drive a crane....
