i did the exact same subjects as you last year !haha

i hope your liking biology!

to address our question :
for biology ideally you should be doing exams from about 4-5 weeks away from the exam. Of course from now till that 4-5 weeks before try and consolidate all of your theory even if it means going ahead and learning all about the immune system now! trust me though youll enjoy the llater topics they are so much more interesting that plants and photosyntheis!

your revision for your exam should co-incide with your sac revision. But yes focus on your sacs becuase i learnty last year really good sac marks can really help you!

in relation to the number of exams. i would say if your aiming for 45+ then 25-30 shold be sufficient, but the most important thing about your practice exams is what you do after you correct them. really go through them thoroughly, and of course assesment reports are your bible. you shold know them back to front!

mark yourself harshly as well, and don't worry in your first few exams if you get in the 50's i did and in the end i did alright!

pm if you need any help with either subject. im sure you will do well :)

do as many as possible! insight and neap have really good trial exams, you should probably be doing some exam style questions now on the material you know already.

I do relevant portions (obviously speaking for Psych) because it's important to get used to the exam-style questions. About 2 weeks out you should be doing full proper exams under timed conditions.

^ i'd say give yourself even more time!

about 4 weeks out you should regularly bee timing you r exams

that way you get really drilled about time usage in the exam.

I did so many exams that I started with the older ones (less relevant) and not VCAA ones (less relevant again) and did all the sections I had covered in class.
I left the questions that I hadn't covered and calculated a 'percentage' from there without including the marks for AOS2, then when I had covered the questions from immunity etc. I just went back and redid the whole exam because I had done so many in between, it was just extra practice for AOS1.
