In chemical formulas such as CS2, how do i know it's a double bond?
Like N2 is a triple bind, im not sure why lol

Nitrogen is 2,5

Therefore it needs 3 electrons.

Therefore it makes a triple bond to share 3 and get a stable 2,8 configuration.

Have a go at Carbon Sulfide - pay attention to valence electrons.

Have a go at Carbon Sulfide

Carbon Disulfide. Its covalent, remember

But what ATAR said is essentially correct, look at valence electrons.
