B+ mark = what ATAR score?

Hi Guys,

I'm wondering, if I receive an average mark of B+ for all my subjects (for example), what ATAR am I likely to receive at the end of the year? I'm doing Further Maths, English, English Literature, Legal Studies and Psychology.

Thanks for your help

Alexa  :)

As in, a B+ from your school or a B+ after VCAA moderation?

B+'s all throughout is roughly a 35 study score

In Further Maths, English, English Literature, Legal Studies and Psychology that would yield an ATAR of about 80.

Sort of shows the impact of scaling. In English, Phys, Chem, Bio, Spesh, Methods that would yield a 91-93 ATAR.

Taiga is pretty much spot on here. I got B+ for each GA for English last year and it ended up being a 34.
Aim high though so than you feel compelled to do well though.
ATAR 2010: 84.70

Physical Education: 40
Further Maths: 38
Economics: 36
Design & Technology: 35
English: 34
Visual Communication and Design: 34
