UMAT Tutoring
« on: May 02, 2011, 01:16:35 am »
I am offering one-on-one UMAT tutoring at the student's home/state library/other suitable places with sessions individualised for each student.

Some people believe that the UMAT can't be tutored in that it is purely based on innate talent, however I believe this to be fundamentally false with everyone I have spoken to in medicine and dentistry degrees having at the very least used UMAT training sites. These sites alone are not enough for everyone and the tailored help provided in tutoring can help maximise potential.

About me:

Studied at Melbourne High

Completed UMAT 2008 scoring in the 100th percentile.

Accepted into Medicine at Monash University

Tutored 10+ students last year and the same this year.

Tutor and write UMAT questions for a UMAT training company.

Tutored students from Melbourne (all areas), rural Victoria and Interstate. Had students get into Medicine (both Victoria and Interstate) and other health professions.

What will be covered in sessions with me:

The best approach for and how to study the UMAT

Approach to each section of the UMAT

Discussion over techniques and difficult questions

Work through answers to questions (the reasoning behind and approaches to)

Give you tips and advice on best approaches to certain UMAT questions or type of umat questions

PM me if interested!

Will you come to us? How expensive is it? And how long does it take for you to help us out for training (considering the 2011 Umat is in two weeks or so)
