参加课外活动的好处
1.结识许多新朋友
2.扩大学生的知识面
3.减轻学习压力

think of the broader picture, implications of the topic next time you think of points.

I've got the same topic, but apparently we are being given certain scenarios which will constrain the arguments you can put forward. Does anyone know what these 'scenarios' might be like for this topic?

Yes, some scenarios will restrict your arguments to a certain aspect of a topic.

e.g. 说服家长让孩子们参加课外活动,使用课外活动对身体的好处。

did you have any other examples of the scenarios they could come up with?

Thanks!

bump! (Sorry if I'm kind of hijacking your thread!) I need some help on thinking up other possible scenarios! Would they ever actually narrow it down to one specific type of ‘课外活动’?And if they don't, should we deliberately make it so?
For example with Liuy's example topic '说服家长让孩子们参加课外活动,使用课外活动对身体的好处。', should we narrow this down to only 体育课外活动?Or give examples based on say..cooking classes, book club, scouts etc as well? (The latter seems more difficult!)

ok, I've just sorted the above out, just a bit panicky at the moment as the sac is tomorrow! Obviously I've written everything up but if anyone can provide some more examples this may help prepare me and the op for more possibilities!

Well for my example, your points will be restricted to the benefits to HEALTH that co-curricula activities bring.

Don't worry, SACS really play a minimal role in determining your SS, its really the Oral and Written.

They all get scaled to the specific parts of the exam.
