You should fix that IP address conflict then, two computers on the same network generally still have different IPs. Unless of course the two accounts were used from the same computer (within minutes of eachother). Your open naming of this "Chris" also seems like a maneuver to validate your story rather than actually add anything to your defence :S

Out of interest, what sort of programs were P2G running last year? I find it odd that I'd never heard of it, yet there were still testimonials. I'm not trying to accuse you guys of anything more, but I think validating your claims are probably heavily in your interests given the current circumstances.

Not sure about the I.P thing, but it could have been any of our computers. But, I assure you it won't happen and a member of our team has been
dismissed because of it.

Thanks for your questions, We used to run small tutoring classes before exams with tutors which was the basis of Pathway to Genius and have some tutors for a while before that. Everyone seemed to really like them so that's where our testimonials came from. They're all on file to prove that we were legit, but because they weren't for the actual events (just our smaller tutoring events) we took them down. However, I'm happy to show anyone who pops into the office our records etc of students.

Best,
Josiah

I don't think that attributing the quality of the lectures to the P2G crew is the right way to approach this.
At the end of the day, the people taking the lectures are the teachers and the only real things that we can attribute to the crew, are the notes and etc., which should make up very little of the P2G lecture experience.

I think that if anyone is concerned about the quality of these lectures, then they should check out the credibility of the teachers running the lectures.

That in itself is highly suspicious,
a company, with no ulterior motive, creating an account, and spending time, therefore money on it, to ... help students? without advertising at all?
I think you're being a bit paranoid.
My school's dux last year wrote their accounting notes, so i'm sure they're legit (as in have their own notes etc)
New company will have some bugs, this was pretty damaging to their rep, but I don't think that they're going to scam everybody and 400+ (or however many people are going) are going to turn up to an RMIT building and find out P2G doesnt exist lol. If it happens though, i'll be dammed

fakers gonna fake

Pathway to Genius is no longer welcome on this forum. You are banned. You are no longer allowed to advertise your services, nor post in any official capacity. You have lost this privilege. You are rotten to the core and I'm now going to prove that you (Josiah Humphrey), the CEO have been an outright liar in this thread. I would advise every single member of ATARNotes against participating in the services of this company. This was the final straw. I have been forwarded a copy of an e-mail sent by you to a prospective member of the PtG team (who later declined). The e-mail is dated in 2011 and contains this damning line:

"Pathway is a new company launching later this year, but we have a number of other companies that
we run, so it's pretty professional (but we're still fun!)"

This means that ALL of your testimonials are fake. Not to mention, Josiah Humphrey is a 2010 Graduate of Mount Erin College (so I doubt that he has actually successfully run 'several other companies' as he claims). Guess who one of the testimonies is from. Esther Humphrey from Mount Erin College. Do I need to say anything more? I have half a mind to report you to the ACCC for illegal misleading advertising.

I also have very strong suspicions that there is no Chris. You made him up as an imaginary scapegoat to avoid taking any real responsibility. The e-mail used to register youngdoc belongs to Mark McDonald. A quick google of the e-mail, [email protected] brings up his information in several corners of the web. Also, the other pathwaytogenius account belongs to "[email protected]" if I could hazard a guess, I would say that Mark McDonald is your marketing manager and he was 100% behind all the posts. Both accounts -very- clearly belong to him. I don't think it takes a 'genius' to work out what's going on here. You have proven yourselves to continually lie, and this is the final straw. You are no longer welcome here. Pack up and get out.

What you have done was lie and then lie to avoid taking responsibility for the lies. Your entire administration team appears to be morally bankrupt to the core. There are many honest operations out there and I truly hope they succeed over you.

Pretty shattered I bought a ticket to their Bio 3/4 lecture, I guess it's one of those cases where it's just too good to be true.

With that said, I suppose I have to go, if one thing is certain Douch is a good teacher... I guess I'll just have to leave the final judgement till I experience the lecture itself?

EDIT: Can I get a refund??

The pathwaytogenius account is now banned. You'll have to ring them up and ask for one.

I just want to say also, I live in the vicinity of Mount Erin and their dux is always at the 80ish mark - hence was my reason for questioning it. In fact, I do MUEP with a girl from there who said that last year their dux was well below what was stated on the website.

Have a look at the study scores on quppa. Mt Erin only had 7 students get above 40 :/
EDIT: I don't think they had a single score above 40 last year. :(

This is a worrying sign. :(

Really, really sad face :(

Good work handling this situation enwiabe, you've done well protecting the community from an obvious immorally founded organisation. Thanks.

If only you found out sooner. Witnessing you crushing them IRL at the careers expo would've been quite fun.

It is one of the things that pisses me off. Dodgy operations taking hard earned money from parents by preying on their fears for their childrens' futures.

I will do anything and everything that I can to expose such operations and people. I think I've actually become quite the internet detective over the years :P Granted, these people were quite hopeless at covering their tracks. The evidence trail is miles long.

That's what I mean, sorry to say but their school is a very bad performer - I'm quite sure they've never had a dux of 90+..
