Im trying to find historian's perspectives on the Sans-Culottes, how important they were in creating a new society, or just historian's views on them in general, and im having such a hard time finding any.
Help?

In my french historiography thread there are a few, but only regarding how their power became increasingly marginalised during the Terror.

I've got general radicalisation of the revolution stuff, but not specifically on the sans-culottes.

I'll try to look. :)

Hibbert has one on their motivations - “To the sans-culottes it seemed that the gap between rich and poor was becoming as wide as it had been before the Revolution.”
