ofcourse there is a chance for you to get in, just meet the prereqs, 30 for both chem and methods.

With Monash and La trobe, they are well established and already have their reputations, whilst RMIT is still new ( first batch this year). Best to aim for the best, if you can get in Monash then do it. With the next two, I guess that would depend on the distance that you'd travel, or even move out. La trobe is in bendigo so you might want to consider that...

You can always transfer if you don't want the course, I assume Pharmacy is not an easy course, but if you are dedicated I'm sure it's well worth it, the money is ok, takes four years + intern ( paid), & effort is with everything you do anyways

There is boards regarding MedEntry and stuff, you might want to check it out.
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Just wondering, I'm doing Chemistry this year (which I should be studying for since my exams in 6 days!), but I don't like Biology very much at all. I've wanted to be a pharmacist for SO LONG now that I'm starting to have doubts about whether I can actually get into the course and make my way through it all. Do you think it was truly difficult to get in and there's no hope for people like me - someone who isn't in the top of every class, but has better motivation?

Are there any cons about the Pharmacy course at Monash, La Trobe or RMIT? Do the good points outweigh the bad?

It's this point in the year that I'm really scared about whether I should continue going for my dream job or not. There's the money, effort, time..

I still can't believe I had to pay for the UMAT - paying to do an exam! Is MedEntry any good?

there is quite abit of biology coz you are dealing with the human body afterall lols. however it gets easier every year in terms of biology content since you it becomes more based on the drugs and how it effects the body. Basically it all links together by the end of it =). I would say Monash is best, then la trobe and then RMIT coz RMIT is new and la trobe is in bendigo and dont forget UNE (distance education pharmacy course, you basically study at home and go to uni 10 days a semester, uni is in sydney but i know of ppl who are doing it in melbourne at home only 89 ATAR score no UMAT)
