Any tips for staying focused ?

So I am in my final year of VCE and at the rate I am going, I feel that I am monumentally screwed. I just need to know  how to get that drive to go the extra mile. I mean, my work ethic in class is good, just when I get home. My grade are good but I want them to be better.  :-\

My biggest problem is that I get so distracted, so easily. Do you have any tips or methods that you use to stay focused ?

About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle

A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Instead of studying at home, study at the library by yourself.

Don't bring an iPod etc, just books, pens and crap and work!

It's hard to get distracted that way.

I agree. Maybe you just need a different environment?
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.
