Are you in VCE?
If so, don't worry about the mid year applications, that's for uni students ( for those wanting to transfer). SEAS application is an application for special consideration, depending on what you fit under.

I can't really remember when you start putting your preferences, I think in August/july..your coordinators will tell you of it when the time is coming :)
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

1st August this year.  But when mid year exams are over, you should start planning and preparing, particularly if the SEAS category (or categories) that you apply for require impact statements and the like.  It will save you a lot of time.

You put your SEAS application at the same time as your course preferences and scholarship applications.

All 3 can be done separately of course, but just make sure you meet the deadlines.  :)
