this is soo legal, actually (assuming disappointment from here).

I think for the sake of avoiding lawsuits (and hence, keeping the website going), it's a good move. The website is called 'ATAR Notes', not 'TSFX Notes' or 'NEAP Exams'. I don't see how the website will be 'wrecked' at all actually, members' notes will still be available for free.

Are you sure? I meant public as in you don't need an account to view posts - only the VCE discussion section and a few others were able to be viewed by guests..

That makes them public to me, there's no restriction on account registration so anyone can see them. All that's changed is that people can find them much more easily.
