Hi guys. I planning to drop accounting and undertake unit 2 in Chemistry; I also have to catch up in what I've lacked in unit 1. Do you guys think its a good idea and What tips can you give me...
(I'm also doing GMA, Math Methods CAS, English and Physics).
I should have chosen Chemistry in the beginning but I guessed I under stated myself because I did poorly in Chem in year 10.

You will be fine - all the important stuff you missed is in your unit 3&4 book and can be learnt next year.
You may need to know stuff for unit 2 from unit 1 though, but you can pick that up during unit 2.

I did Unit 2 without unit 1 last year and to be honest it's not actually that bad. Actually turned out to be one of my better subjects  :P. You will probably find it confusing at first, but you get used to the concepts pretty quickly.

You will really want to quickly go over some concepts such as the mole from unit 1, but you should get your teacher to go through what you need to get done over the holidays.
Good luck  :)
