hey, if you've spent 5-6 years at your highschool and then returned 10 years after graduating year 12, to visit some teachers do you think that they'd recognize/remember who you were?

Do teachers normally remember this sort of stuff or would they forget?

If you've you're a university student and have seen some of your teachers, do they remember you?

Just curious/interested, from a pscyhological point of view... :D

Yes, unless you changed significantly. With university, I doubt teachers/lecturers would even know your name.
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Nice question... I went back to my primary school (on fete day) about 2 years ago and my librarian still remembered me (not like they spend much time with you). I think most teachers would have some sort of memory of you - whether they would care about you visiting is a different thing. I still keep in touch with my primary school teacher though :)

Oh, and my English teacher was saying something about meeting this students that was a real jerk in her class on the bus one day (this is like 6 years after). She definitely recognised him and the guy apologised for being that way, thought it was pretty intriguing.
